The Shield wetsuits are designed to provide advanced protection during foiling, with strategic reinforcements to protect you from impacts with the foil or windsurf mast. Made with FSC-certified Naturprene 2, and free from neoprene, they offer elasticity and durability thanks to the Airflex 550+ outer lining.

With 4 mm of insulation on the body to retain heat and 3 mm on the arms and legs for maximum mobility, it provides enhanced comfort, thanks to the Zodiac Jaquard fleece lining that dries quickly, effectively absorbing moisture from the skin and releasing it quickly. The triple-glued seams are sealed with liquid rubber, ensuring waterproofness and durability.

The Shield wetsuit is essential equipment for high-performance foiling, featuring reinforced protection on the shoulders, armpits, knees, and shins.

PROTECTIONS:

Shoulder: The right shoulder is extra protected with Fluid neoprene on the outside and additional memory foam padding on the inside.

Armpits: The armpits, subject to wear, are protected with a special lining to prevent damage.

Knees: The entire knee area is protected with a KED armored knee pad that offers impact protection.

Shins: The entire shin area is reinforced with a protected layer to shield from cuts and sharp objects.

• GBS Seams: Triple-glued panels stitched together with a special stitching method. Partial perforation of the neoprene to maintain the waterproofness of the wetsuit's seams. Each thread is protected by a tape at the end. Our perfect finish makes the wetsuit glued and blind-stitched, making it indestructible. Designed to fit the body without overstretching the neoprene, preventing thin neoprene from stretching out and losing thermal insulation.

Prolimit Naturprene 2 – Sustainable & High-Performance Material

• 100% Neoprene-Free Material: Naturprene 2 is made entirely from FSC-certified natural rubber. USDA-certified, 80% natural rubber, 20% recycled carbon black, enriched with oyster shell powder and soybean oil.
• Water-Based Glue: the wetsuit lamination is done with Acqua-A water-based glue, free of solvents and chemicals, preventing latex allergies and ensuring durability.
• PAH, ROHS & REACH Compliant: PAH-free wetsuits comply with REACH regulations, prohibiting the use of harmful extender oils in neoprene production, improving elasticity and preventing skin irritation.
• Dope-Dyed Yarns: traditional dyeing methods consume high amounts of water and energy, releasing toxic wastewater. Prolimit's dope-dyeing process saves energy and is eco-friendly, reducing 104L of water per kg of fabric.
